Learning Partnership Report: Luton 2018

We work in collaboration with a number of local authorities and service delivery organisations to evaluate the impact of our programmes through our Learning Partnership Scheme. This allows us to measure impact at the service or local authority level, providing both us and the service delivery organisation with evidence against agreed parent, child and service-level outcomes. We work in collaboration with service delivery organisations across the UK to evaluate the impact of our programmes at a service or local authority level as part of our Learning Partnership Scheme.

In this report, you can see the evaluation and impact of 15 Nurturing Programme groups run across Luton's Children's Centres between September 2017 and August 2018.

The impact of the groups was assessed using a pre/post design, measuring changes in four key outcomes:

· Parental mental wellbeing

· Parental self-efficacy

· Children’s behavioural and emotional difficulties

· Children’s prosocial behaviour

Analysis showed a statistically significant improvement in all four outcomes after the group and qualitative feedback suggests parents were seeing improvements in their family life, including improved familial relationships.
